Frank Casino is thrilled to share the news of his upcoming EP, “By Design,” which is slated for release on 25 October 2025 . To build anticipation for the album, he has dropped two singles before the EP drops just to engage and excite his loyal fanbase. Recently, he also unveiled “Long Life,” offering listeners a sneak peek of what they can look forward to from the album.
Born Nhlanhla Tshabalala, Frank Casino is a dynamic South African rapper and producer. He gained significant recognition through his guest appearance on the chart-topping hit “Mayo” by DJ Speedsta, which also featured Shane Eagle, Yung Swiss, and Tellaman. Following this success, Frank released his major single “Whole Thing,” which was later remixed by Riky Rick.
In 2018, he continued to dominate the music scene with impactful lead singles, “Come Alive” and “Sudden.” The latter featured guest appearances from industry giants Cassper Nyovest and Major League DJz, and both tracks were part of his acclaimed EP Heroes of Tomorrow, which achieved gold certification from the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).

In an interview he was asked the following question, what inspired you to pursue a career in Hip Hop genre, and how did you get started in the music industry? …. He responded “My dad’s always played Hip Hop since I was young, so I grew to love it and I related more to it as much as I will listen to other musical genres and am able to tell a good story through it”
The first single, “Fast Life,” explores Frank’s personal experiences navigating the vibrant nightlife of Johannesburg’s northern suburbs. Drawing from his time as a touring artist, he captures the challenges of a fast-paced lifestyle, where rest is a luxury amid the excitement. Through this track, Frank finds his unique voice by adapting to the whirlwind around him while grounding himself with trusted friends amidst fleeting and insincere relationships.
In his second single, “Another Weekend,” Frank pays tribute to the amazing women in his life who embody independence and resilience. He reflects on those who have relocated, transformed their lives, and demonstrated strong work ethics often overlooked or erroneously credited to others. Frank shares that these remarkable women remind him of his mother, which inspired him to give them their due recognition in this song.
