The SunBet Arena in Pretoria hosted the Basketball Africa League (BAL) final between Al Ahli Tripoli and Petro de Luanda on Saturday the 14 June 2025. Hennessy invited prominent celebrities to experience an afternoon of elevated hospitality and spirited celebration.
The evening began with a balcony view overlooking the courtside. Maglera Doe Boy lit up the court with a high-energy opening performance for the finals.
Hennessy delivered on its promise of a bold and unforgettable experience with bottomless cocktails, finger foods, and snacks among those sharing toasts on the balcony were Maglera Doe Boy, Kabza De Small, Cyan Boujee, Boity, MaXhosa, Naledi M, and Robot Boii, to name just a few.
Focalistic gave an electrifying halftime performance that had Hennessy’s guests singing along and dancing to each hit he performed. Unfortunately, the Angolan side wasn’t as lucky on the court, losing the game despite being the crowd’s favorite.
The celebrations didn’t end courtside. Hennessy hosted an exclusive after-party at the JavettUP Art Centre in Hatfield. Entry was granted via a special QR code, giving guests access to a night where Venom, Kabza De Small, and other DJs rocked the decks.
The after-party was thoughtfully designed, with the dance floor styled as a basketball court and illuminated by vibrant neon lights. The night ended on a high note, with the spirit of boldness celebrated just as Hennessy promised
