About the Basketball Africa League (BAL)

The BAL is a collaboration between the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and NBA Africa, designed to elevate the sport of basketball across the continent. This professional league features 12 club teams from various African nations, showcasing the incredible talent and passion for basketball in Africa.

The Kalahari Conference is just one part of the league’s extensive schedule, with subsequent events planned in Morocco (Sahara Conference from April 24 to May 3). The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs in Kigali, scheduled for May 22 to May 31.
